• Ponds can be any shape or size as long as they have a way for wildlife to get in and out.
• Plants are an important part of your wildlife pond, oxygenating the water and providing food and shelter. Use UK native species where possible.
• It is best not to add fish to your pond as they can pollute the water and eat the other plants and animals.
