the pledge map

See all the good work being done

Every pledge that is created in the Sea & Coast section of this website creates a blue ‘pledge pin’ which is then placed on the pledge map below. Get inspired today by interacting with the map to see what other people are doing in the North Devon Biosphere, perhaps even in your area.

Once you are ready to create your pledge, simply read more about how pledges work below and complete the Create a Pledge online form: it takes < 1 minute!

KEY: The grey area shows the extent of the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere.
This is the focus of our project, but if you would like to submit a Pledge outside this area, please feel free!

Make a pledge for nature

We are asking you to choose 1 or more activities from the 6 below and to commit some time and energy to enhance and protect the watercourses and marine environment of the North Devon Biosphere.
No matter where you live, water connects us all, and everything that happens upstream will eventually make it way down rivers and streams to the sea.

The more people join the movement, the more pledges we can gather - the bigger the difference we can make together. Why not make a pledge to protect our marine environment, from source to sea.
